What has changed in armor due OSRS GP to the constant combat changes and how is it evolving? Based on what I've seen, I have the following concerns. If armour doesn't give bonus points for attack, what incentives can I give to use my class-appropriate gear? The new d’hide/purple robes/rune seem to offer the same defensive/life advantages. How does that happen? Is that robe as protective like the rune? What is the reason I would wear rune?

Theroretically, because offensive bonuses don’t come from armor anymore, if a safespotting wizard/archer, I shouldn’t be in any disadvantage due to wearing less-than-perfect armor to someone who wears the most effective. Does that make sense?

This isn't an armor question but spiders are very easy to kill. How can I identify their weaknesses in other types of weapons? What can I do to determine which element of a spell works the best at dealing with them or what type of ammunition to use? Do I need to forget about the use of melee against them?

I heard that all weapons are balanced. Is this the case with armor? AKA will I be able to utilize chain mail against a crush opponent without losing defensive bonuses? Square shields and Medium helms also have they received any changes that helped make them viable? I must admit it is incredibly confusing and I am still trying to grasp the basics. Any help is appreciated. We appreciate any help you can provide.

The Runescape Evolution of Combat update continues to cause havoc for its players. As such, Runescape's players are being bombarded by the cry of "Adapt or die!" EoC supporters usually hear this cry since they believe that adjusting to changes is a positive thing.

The issue is that we are creators and thinkers. We are conditioned to adjust the environment to meet our requirements. We need to communicate with other people in the event that our environment affects us. In other words, adapting means taking a passive attitude to what someone else says. This is the essence of being a sheep. You get slaughtered.

Two signs indicate intelligence that show it: concentration and flexibility. Jagex does not have either. Jagex is rigid in its method of rushing through updates. Its focus is on dollars and not people. Jagex's style of communication is the problem. At the core the Runescape forums are the heart of the matter. Jagex and players can gather on forums to talk about Runescape and move it forward once more.

Jagex may think that Runescape could be saved by adjusting to other MMOs. Another variation on the idea of adapt or die. Jmods are limited in terms of who and what they can talk with. It's a matter of time. They can only talk to a few people a day. A majority of Jmods have only a small amount of people they are able to talk to. These relationships will have been established over time and will be "Yes!" groups to whatever Jmod has to say. Fmods (some disguise as Jmods), stamping out any discord in forums.

Jagex must adjust to old school runescape buy gold this new reality. Fmods will be eliminated. Fmods need to be made a full-time job at Jagex. There will be no more Fmods calling players "you lot" and so on. Some Fmods are destroying sections of the forums.
