OBJECTIVES To measure the use of healthcare services and assistive devices by centenarians in five countries. DESIGN Cross-sectional study using a survey questionnaire. SETTING Community-dwelling and institutionalised centenarians living in Japan, France, Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark.
