Can You Relocate Resident Services in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Any home or shop can be moved in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's also possible to relocate Blathers' museum once you've upgraded from the initial tent to the brick and mortar Resident Services building. Resident Services is the only building in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch that cannot be moved.
You can choose where Resident Services is placed at the start of ACNH, but it cannot be moved after that. Its initial and upgraded iterations cannot be relocated, so let's hope your initial placement isn't too bad.

Resident Services can't be moved, which is unfortunate, but unless Nintendo decides to add functionality at a later date, you'll have to make do with the current location. Of course, you can always delete your island and start over, making sure to place Resident Services optimally the next time. In Animal Crossing New Horizons, can you move buildings?
You'll be able to move buildings like houses and stores after Resident Services transforms from a tent to a building. Simply speak with Tom Nook, select "Let's talk infrastructure," and request changes to the layout. All buildings can be moved, with the exception of Resident Services.
It will cost 50,000 Bells to relocate structures such as villager homes, Nook's Cranny, the museum, or a campsite. If you want to relocate your home, speak with Tom Nook, choose "About my home...", and then "Relocate."You'll have to pay 30,000 Bells ACNH for this.
If you decide to relocate a structure, Tom Nook will provide you with a kit to help you choose a new location. It works in the same way that it did the first time you put the structures in place. You'll need an open space with no nearby cliffs or water. The building will appear the next day after you select a new location.
