De Garengeot's hernia happens when an inflamed or ischemic appendix is located within an incarcerated femoral hernia. We hereby report a case of De Garengeot's hernia treated with a combined open and laparoscopic approach. An 80-year-old male presented to the emergency department with a 1-day history of a tender right inguinal mass.
