As the founder and head coach at EJS Golf in Scottsdale, AZ, I’ve dedicated over 25 years to perfecting the art and science of golf instruction. My name is coach Erik Schjolberg, and I’ve made it my mission to ensure that every golfer who steps into my teaching bay experiences measurable improvement from their very first lesson. I’m not just a golf coach—I’m a relentless advocate for my students’ success, committed to turning every swing into an opportunity for growth.
My approach is simple yet powerful: I focus on making you a better striker of the golf ball, utilizing cutting-edge technology like the Trackman 4 Launch Monitor, GRF Analysis, 3D Video, Hackmotion, and more. Each tool I use is selected with one goal in mind—helping you reach your full potential. I don’t believe in the idea that you have to get worse before you get better. Instead, I believe that with the right feedback and the right approach, improvement should be immediate.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching a diverse range of golfers—from PGA Tour Players and college athletes to high-level juniors and dedicated amateurs. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt my teaching methods to fit the unique needs of each golfer. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, I guarantee results as long as you’re committed to putting in the work.

I utilize video during each lesson to show each student where they start and what progress is made at the end. They are sent a 5-10 minute video lesson along with a detailed practice plan within 24-48 hours of each lesson. This video shows them their swing, reminds them of what to work on until our next lesson, as well as which drills will help them accomplish their goals.
