We have developed a versatile label-free surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopic platform for detecting various biotargets via proximity hybridization-triggered DNA assembly based on the 736 cm-1 Raman peak of adenine breathing mode. We initially immobilized the first probe to AuNPs and modified the second with poly adenine.
