Coumarins have been shown to possess antimicrobial, anti-quorum sensing and anti-biofilm properties against a wide range of pathogenic bacteria. This study aimed to shed light on the effects of non-substituted coumarin on biofilm formation by the foodborne pathogen Salmonella Typhimurium.
